The Samsung Galaxy S has just received the honor of being the first Android phone to be certified by DivX for HD video playback. You now have the official blessing from DivX to load up your (legal) 720p video files on your Galaxy S phone and enjoy your media on the go. With the phone’s DLNA and microUSB connections you will also be able to sync up with other DivX certified devices and enjoy your videos on your large screen TV.

Samsung Galaxy S coming to South Africa – South African Android Love
Samsung has recently announced their latest Android based Smartphone named the Samsung Galaxy S.
I have received confirmation from my Samsung contact that the phone will be released in South Africa which is great news. I am still awaiting a local launch date, but estimates put it around June / July.
